PPC opens art exhibition at historic Nea Faliro power station

The Public Power Corporation (PPC) has inaugurated the “PPC Meets Art Vol. 2” exhibition at the historic steam power plant in Nea Faliro, Greece. The exhibition features 55 contemporary works selected from over one thousand entries in the company’s second open art competition.

Curated by art historian Christoforos Marinos, the collection includes diverse mediums such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, moving images, sound creations, installations, and performance art. The works are inspired by the 75-year history and industrial heritage of PPC, utilizing materials from the company’s historical archives.

Five winners of the competition were awarded cash prizes totaling €20,000. The exhibition is open to the public with free admission and is scheduled to run until January 10, 2027.
