PPC S.A. achieves ISS STOXX Prime Status with ESG rating upgrade

PPC S.A. (ΔΕΗ) has achieved Prime Status from ISS STOXX following an upgrade in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating. The company’s overall performance score increased from 47.04 to 50.83, resulting in a rating upgrade from “C+” to “B-”.

This distinction places PPC S.A. among the top companies in the global electric utilities sector according to ISS STOXX standards, which award Prime Status to companies with a rating of B- or higher. The upgrade reflects the group’s progress in integrating responsible environmental, social, and corporate practices across its operations.

As part of its strategic transformation, PPC S.A. is focusing on sustainable development and energy transition, with a priority on decarbonization by the end of 2026.
