PPC S.A. secures €675 million via asset securitization

PPC S.A. has successfully completed an asset securitization transaction, securing €675 million in capital. This move follows the full repayment of the company's previous securitization programs.

The transaction is supported by a portfolio of receivables derived from natural gas and low and medium voltage electricity supply contracts. PPC S.A. serves multiple roles in the arrangement, acting as the seller, servicer, and junior noteholder.

The issuer for the transaction is the special purpose vehicle PPC Rhea DAC, which issued Senior Notes. The primary investors for these notes are Deutsche Bank AG and Eurobank S.A. Citibank N.A., London Branch, is acting as both the note trustee and security trustee, while Qualco Intelligent Finance S.A. serves as the sub-servicer.

The financing is structured on a non-recourse basis to PPC S.A. It includes an initial two-year revolving period, which may be extended by an additional two years, with an initial maturity date set for 2031.
