PPdeG sets political agenda for Galicia focusing on stability

The People's Party of Galicia (PPdeG) has outlined its priorities for the new political term, focusing on regional stability and investment. Key issues on the agenda include regional financing reform, drought management, public healthcare, education, and infrastructure such as the AP-9 highway.

As the governing party in the Xunta, the PPdeG aims to demand greater equality for Galicia in the face of what they describe as failures by the Spanish central government. The political landscape is also shaped by upcoming electoral cycles, including the 2027 municipal elections and future general elections.

Galician President Alfonso Rueda has indicated a strategic focus on strengthening the party's presence in provincial councils and increasing its number of councilors across cities.
