Äppelfeschd celebrates 30th anniversary in Perl

The Äppelfeschd in Tettingen-Butzdorf is celebrating its 30th anniversary on October 10 and 11. The milestone event coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Viezstraße association.

During a celebratory ceremony held at the Saarländisches Brennereimuseum Becker, local politicians and regional representatives honored the volunteers responsible for maintaining the tradition. Wolfgang Schmitt, chairman of the Viezstraße association, expressed gratitude to the members and the municipality of Perl for their long-standing cooperation. Mayor Ralf Uhlenbruch noted the festival's originality among local events. Beyond culinary offerings, the festival serves as a significant gathering point for fruit growers to exchange ideas with visitors.
