PPF and Moneta Money Bank report strong financial growth
The investment group PPF reported a 157 percent increase in net profit for the first half of the year, reaching 834 million euros (approximately 20.3 billion CZK). This growth was driven by its diversified portfolio, particularly in telecommunications and financial services. The group's operating revenues rose by 28 percent to 2.35 billion euros. This marks the first financial report since the group completed its headquarters relocation from the Netherlands to the Czech Republic.
Additionally, Moneta Money Bank announced strong third-quarter results, with net profit rising 20.5 percent year-on-year to 2.2 billion CZK, exceeding market expectations. For the first nine months of the year, the bank's net profit grew by 12.7 percent to 5.5 billion CZK. Driven by growth in its loan portfolio and higher interest margins, the bank has raised its full-year profit outlook to 7.1 billion CZK and maintains a dividend policy of allocating 90 percent of net profits to shareholders.
