PPF Group to sell nautical division and charter businesses

PPF Group has reached an agreement in principle to sell its nautical division, including its charter and booking businesses. The sale involves Dream Yacht Charter, Navigare Yachting, and SamBoat, which will be acquired by a consortium led by Romain Motteau, the former deputy CEO of Fountaine Pajot Group, alongside other investment partners.

The divestment is part of a portfolio review by PPF Group to direct capital toward areas with higher long-term potential. The transaction also involves the sale of a minority stake in boat retailer MarineMax to Emma Omega, a company under the Emma Capital group led by former PPF executive Jiří Šmejc.

If the necessary regulatory approvals and final agreements are met, the transactions are expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The acquisition of the charter businesses could result in the creation of one of the world's largest yacht charter fleets.
