PPP begins political consolidation for 2029 elections in Blora and Karanganyar

The United Development Party (PPP) is initiating political consolidation in Central Java to prepare for the 2029 legislative elections.

In Blora, the DPC PPP Blora aims to secure five seats in the DPRD. Chairman Achlif Nugroho Widi Utomo stated that the party will focus on approaching Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) figures and citizens, as well as engaging nationalist leaders through various community outreach programs. The party is specifically targeting electoral districts 1 and 4, where they previously failed to secure seats.

In Karanganyar, the DPC PPP Karanganyar is working toward forming one legislative faction. Chairman Agus Basuki noted that the party is preparing candidates for each electoral district and revitalizing networks of former local figures. The consolidation efforts include community gatherings and seeking support from village heads to strengthen the party's grassroots presence, particularly in the Kaliwuluh area.
