Practical Magic 2 features Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman

The sequel to the 1998 cult classic ‘Practical Magic’ has been released, starring original leads Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman alongside new cast members including Joey King and Maisie Williams. Directed by Oscar winner Susanne Bier, the production marks a shift in setting from Washington State to various historic locations across England.

Filming utilized several notable English sites, including the 900-year-old St. Mary and All Saints Church in Essex to portray a New England cemetery, and the 18th-century Langleybury Mansion in Hertfordshire for scenes set at Harvard. Additionally, the Royal Standard of England, cited as the oldest pub in Britain, served as the film’s fictional Thornfield Inn.

The release has also sparked public discussion regarding the aging of Hollywood stars, with critics and viewers noting the visual presentation of the lead actresses 28 years after the original film.
