Practical Magic 2 released starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman

The fantasy sequel Practical Magic 2 has been released in theaters, following the legacy of the 1998 cult classic. Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, the film reunites the original leads to continue the story of the Owens sisters and their family curse, which causes the death of any man who falls in love with them.

The sequel follows Sally Owens and her adult daughters, Kylie and Antonia, as they confront their magical heritage after a car accident leaves Kylie’s boyfriend in a coma. While critics note that the film maintains the palpable chemistry between Bullock and Kidman, some reviews suggest the sequel struggles to replicate the original’s unique atmosphere and whimsy, citing script inconsistencies and a shift toward modern elements.

In addition to film discussions, Sandra Bullock recently shared personal anecdotes during a promotional roundtable, including a discussion regarding unexplained paranormal experiences.
