Prague 10 approves funding for heritage restoration and home‑care project

The Prague 10 municipal council approved a total of 360,000 CZK in grants for the restoration of two heritage buildings. One grant of 295,000 CZK will fund the repair of a glass wall and metal framework at the Hus church in Dykova Street, while a second grant of 65,000 CZK will support the replacement of deteriorated wooden window frames in a historic building on Šrobárova Street.

In a separate decision, the council allocated a 1 million CZK earmarked donation to the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady to continue the pilot “Zkratka domů” programme. The project, running from August 2025 to June 2027 with a total budget of about 4 million CZK, provides intensive home‑care support to patients who have lost self‑sufficiency after serious illness or hospitalization, aiming to reduce readmissions and improve recovery. Deputy mayor David Kašpar highlighted the model’s benefit in linking health and social services for residents of Prague 10.
