Prague 12 plans multifunctional sports hall construction

In Prague 12, plans are moving forward for the construction of a multifunctional sports hall. A 38,000 square meter plot in the Kamýk area has been selected for the project, with approximately 11,000 square meters designated for sports use and 2,250 square meters for urban greenery.

The project follows long-standing public demand for expanded indoor sports facilities in the district. Funding was allocated by the Prague City Hall in 2019, leading to the identification of suitable land by the Institute of Planning and Development. The proposed hall is expected to have a footprint of roughly 54 by 37 meters.
