Prague begins construction of Zličín P+R parking house
Construction has officially begun on the P+R Na Radosti parking house near the Zličín metro station in Prague. The five-story facility is designed to provide 596 parking spaces to facilitate commuters traveling from the west into the city via metro or bus.
The capacity includes 462 spaces within the building and 134 on an adjacent outdoor area. Specific allocations include 11 spaces for electric vehicles with charging stations, 10 spaces for persons with disabilities, and 8 spaces for families with children. New stops for municipal and suburban bus lines will also be established nearby.
The project, managed by the Technical Administration of Communications (TSK), is being executed by the P+R DEPO Zličín – BAK & MTS consortium for approximately 619.5 million CZK (excluding VAT). Construction is expected to take 18 months, with a planned opening in mid-2028 following a three-month commissioning period.
