Prague hosts public first aid training and wellness events
Prague will host several community health and wellness events in late August. On August 25, the Prague Emergency Medical Service (ZZS HMP) is organizing a public day at Old Town Square. From 10:00 to 19:00, citizens can participate in free practical training for first aid, including resuscitation, controlling heavy bleeding, and learning how to correctly call the 155 emergency line. The event will feature demonstrations of rescue techniques, specialized vehicles like Golem and Fénix, and presentations on mental health and bone marrow donation.
Additionally, on August 26, wellness coach Dagmar McLin will lead a free movement and vitality session in a park near Smíchov. The workshop focuses on healthy movement, nutrition, and stress management, offering guidance on maintaining vitality through lifestyle adjustments rather than expensive supplements.
