Prague hosts upcoming food and design festivals
Prague is hosting several upcoming cultural and gastronomic festivals. The third edition of Groovy Market Fest will take place at Riegrovy Sady on October 3. The one-day event, held at Energy Pub, features three main areas: a Food Garden for street food, Palm Street for artisanal products, and a Design Zone for independent Czech fashion and design brands. The festival includes live music and DJ sets, with tickets available for specific sessions or as an all-day pass.
Additionally, the 19th annual Vinobraní festival in Prague 2 will be held in mid-September. The festivities will begin on Friday at Náměstí Míru and continue on Saturday at Grébovka (Havlíčkovy sady). The event features wine, must, and local gastronomy, with musical performances including Adam Mišík and Sto zvířat. Organizers expect significant attendance, with estimates suggesting the consumption of 50,000 liters of must and 25,000 liters of wine over the two days.
