ESET Czech Branch Marks 25 Years with Record Growth
The Czech branch of ESET celebrated its 25th anniversary on 25 July 2026, marking a quarter‑century since its establishment on 25 July 2001 as the company's second overseas office outside Slovakia. Based in Prague’s Holešovice district, the unit has expanded to 87 employees and now protects almost two million devices across the country, including more than 1.3 million corporate endpoints.
In 2025 the branch posted a record turnover of CZK 836.4 million, a year‑on‑year increase of over 33 %. The corporate segment grew by 40 % among small and medium enterprises and by nearly 50 % among large organisations, driven by a shift toward cloud services and managed security solutions. ESET’s portfolio for Czech customers now spans the Home Security suite (Essential, Premium, Ultimate), the ESET PROTECT platform, MDR service, and the new Cloud Workload Protection module for virtual environments.
Director Jan Urbík said the branch’s success reflects “stable partnership with Czech institutions, firms and households” and highlighted the long tenure of many staff members who have been with the company for two decades.
