Prague metro: Passenger rescues 7-year-old from tracks
A 7-year-old boy fell onto the tracks at the Muzeum metro station in Prague after becoming distracted by a mobile phone. The child was under the supervision of a family member at the time of the incident.
A passenger heroically jumped onto the tracks to rescue the child just as a metro train was approaching the station. Thanks to this rapid intervention, the boy was pulled back to the platform within seconds. Czech police spokesperson Eva Kropáčová reported that the child sustained only minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities have issued a warning to the public regarding the dangers of using mobile phones near platform edges.
