Prague ranked highly in European city rankings

Prague has secured significant positions in two recent travel rankings. According to the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2026, Prague was named the second best city in Europe with a score of 88.89 out of 100, trailing only Florence, Italy. In the global rankings, Prague placed 18th, following San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, which took the top spot.

Additionally, the Solo Travel Index by Radical Storage ranked Prague as the best European city for solo travelers, earning a score of 7.75 out of 10. The index noted that travelers in Prague spend an average of 134 euros per day on accommodation, food, transport, and entertainment. Prague also ranked eighth in safety among 48 cities surveyed and tied for sixth place regarding affordability.
