The Prague Stock Exchange (PX) index rose by roughly 0.46 % to 2,583 points, extending a series of gains. The market report also noted that German equities measured by the DAX were flat, with Commerzbank and Bayer posting strong moves while auto makers BMW, Mercedes‑Benz and Volkswagen fell sharply. U.S. indexes closed in negative territory. Overall, the mixed performance reflected sector‑specific trends across Central Europe and the United States.
