The Prague City Hall will have the Technical Administration of Communications (TSK) demolish two large concrete sculptures known locally as Hroší lázně (Elephant Baths) that sit on the stairwell of the Barrandov Bridge. TSK will first prepare project documentation for a possible future replica of the artworks before proceeding with demolition.

The action follows the spontaneous collapse of the nearby "Rovnováha" sculpture on 17 July, which fell onto the road and cycle path without causing injuries. City spokesman Vít Hofman said the demolition is intended to avoid a repeat of that incident. The Hroší lázně were designed by bridge architect Karel Filsak and erected at the turn of the 1980s‑1990s. Any decision to create replicas will be made by political representatives.
