Prague to host construction safety and green infrastructure conferences

Two professional conferences focused on construction and building safety are scheduled to take place in Prague in September 2026.

The 11th Fire Safety of Buildings Conference will be held on September 17 at the PVA EXPO PRAHA congress hall during the FOR ARCH international construction fair. The event will address topics such as fire safety requirements for facade systems, ETICS testing, and the fire safety solutions for the upcoming Vltavská Philharmonic, a project designed by Bjarke Ingels Group.

Additionally, the Forum of Green Roofs and Facades will take place on September 8 at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. This forum will focus on the integration of vegetation with building structures, addressing technical challenges such as rainwater management, structural statics, biodiversity, and the fire safety of vegetated roofs.
