Prague urban development: Square revitalization and new residential projects
Prague is undergoing significant urban improvements and residential expansions. In the Prague 9 district, Jiřího z Poděbrad Square has been revitalized with a focus on integrated public space and advanced stormwater management. MEA Water Management implemented a drainage system using composite channels and slit drainage to manage rainwater without disrupting the square's aesthetics. The new infrastructure directs water toward trees and into accumulation tanks to ensure sustainable management.
Simultaneously, Metrostav Development is advancing the Viladomy u Mlýna project in the Klíčov area. This residential development consists of three low-energy villa-style buildings providing 42 units. The project aims to blend urban living with nature, featuring its own park with art installations and proximity to local greenery and transport links like the Vysočany station and the D11 highway.
