Prahova Community Foundation selects 2026 Științescu Fund winners

The Prahova Community Foundation has announced the winners of the 2026 edition of the Științescu Fund. This program is designed to finance STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) educational projects for children and youth within Prahova County.

This specific edition focuses exclusively on science clubs, ranging from established organizations to newly forming groups. Out of 14 initial applications from educational institutions, NGOs, and initiative groups, 10 projects were selected for funding. Each project will receive a grant between 5,000 and 10,000 lei from a total fund of 80,000 lei.

The program is implemented by the Prahova Community Foundation in partnership with the Romanian-American Foundation and the Federation of Community Foundations in Romania, with local funding provided by Colen Impex.
