Flamengo wins women's volleyball and U-20 football titles

Flamengo secured two major titles in women's sports on Saturday, September 26.

In volleyball, Sesc RJ Flamengo won the Copa SuperVôlei Feminina after a comeback victory against Dentil/Praia Clube. Despite losing the first two sets (18-25, 23-25), Flamengo rallied to win the next three sets (25-20, 25-22, 15-10) at Arena Niterói. The team, led by coach Bernardinho and interim coach Hélio Griner, utilized improved serving and blocking to overcome Praia Clube's early dominance.

In football, Flamengo's under-20 women's team claimed the inaugural Torneio Internacional Estrelas by defeating São Paulo 3-1 at the Canindé Stadium. The match featured goals from an own goal by Júlia Pereira, a strike by Campos, and a penalty converted by Isabela. The tournament included international participation from Real Madrid and the Paraguayan national team, aiming to provide high-level competitive experience for youth athletes.
