Praia do Rosa Blues Festival to debut in September

The inaugural Praia do Rosa Blues Festival is scheduled to take place on September 25 and 26. Organized by the Praia do Rosa Tourism Nucleus and the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival, the event aims to integrate music, tourism, and gastronomy into the local culture.

The festival will feature a main stage on Avenida Porto Novo in the Centrinho do Rosa, with additional performances hosted at various local bars and venues, including Omar, Lola Resto Bar, and Baixo Rosa. The lineup includes artists from several Brazilian states, such as Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo, alongside local musicians from Santa Catarina.

This event expands the reach of the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival, which has a 17-year history originating in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul.
