Praia do Rosa launches Del Vino 2026 gastronomy festival

The Del Vino 2026 festival begins this Friday at Praia do Rosa, marking the start of a 16-day event focused on gastronomy, wine, and nature. Running until August 29, the festival involves local restaurants, inns, and businesses aiming to promote the region during the winter season.

Beyond culinary offerings, the period coincides with the arrival of southern right whales, which visit the coast of Imbituba for reproduction and nursing between July and November. This natural event complements the region's efforts to establish itself as a year-round tourist destination, moving beyond the traditional summer high season.
