Praiano named most beautiful town in the world by Condé Nast Traveler
Praiano, a small town on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, has been named the most beautiful town in the world by Condé Nast Traveler. The town secured the top spot in a global ranking of 20 locations, surpassing international destinations such as Biei in Japan and Baños in Ecuador.
The American travel magazine highlighted Praiano’s ability to offer an authentic experience away from mass tourism while remaining close to Positano. Key attractions cited include the Gavitella beach, the Marina di Praia inlet, and the Church of San Gennaro with its traditional majolica ceramics.
Andrea Ferraioli, president of the Amalfi Coast Tourist District, stated that the recognition brings pride not only to Praiano but to the entire Amalfi Coast, noting that the award promotes a more authentic image of the region.
