Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK to face Wang Junguang in kickboxing return

Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK, the reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion, is set to return to competition at The Inner Circle 35 in Bangkok, Thailand. On October 16, the Thai martial artist will face Wang Junguang in a three-round strawweight kickboxing contest at Lumpinee Stadium.

Prajanchai’s return follows a nearly year-long absence caused by surgery after losing his kickboxing title to Jonathan Di Bella. Rather than selecting an easier tune-up bout, Prajanchai has opted for a high-stakes matchup against Wang, a veteran and former Enfusion Kickboxing Champion who previously challenged for the inaugural ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.

Wang, who trained at the Shaolin Temple, returns to ONE Championship seeking to reclaim his standing in the division. Prajanchai, known for his striking record and status as a two-sport champion, aims to prove his physical readiness following his recovery.
