Pramono Anung addresses impact of decile changes on Jakarta social aid

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has addressed concerns regarding changes to national decile classifications, stating that these shifts will not significantly impact recipients of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP Plus) and the Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU).

Pramono clarified that the Jakarta Provincial Government does not have the authority to alter decile policies, as they are determined by the central government. However, he emphasized that the provincial administration is implementing its own internal arrangements to minimize any negative consequences for residents relying on these social assistance programs.
