Pranavi Urs ties for ninth at La Sella Open

Indian golfer Pranavi Urs secured a tied-ninth position during the rain-affected opening round of the La Sella Open. After play was suspended on Thursday due to weather, Urs completed her round on Friday morning, carding a 3-under 69. Her performance included four birdies and two bogeys.

Italy’s Anna Zanusso currently leads the Ladies European Tour event with a 6-under 66, holding a two-stroke advantage. Zanusso also faced weather delays but finished strongly with two birdies in her final four holes. Five players, including Ariane Klotz, Caitlyn Macnab, Gemma Clews, Helen Briem, and Hannah Screen, are tied for second at 4-under 68.

Other Indian golfers in the tournament include Diksha Dagar, who finished at even par, Avani Prashanth at 2-over, Vani Kapoor at 4-over, and Hitaashee Bakshi at 5-over.
