Praram 9 Hospital hosts kidney care open house for insurance agents

Praram 9 Hospital hosted an open house event titled ‘New Kidney, New Life’ aimed at educating life insurance agents about the hospital’s comprehensive kidney care services. The initiative seeks to build confidence among insurance professionals, enabling them to provide accurate health service recommendations to their clients.

The program covered the full spectrum of renal care, including diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis, automated peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation. A featured lecture by nephrologist and transplant specialist Dr. Not Techawatwanna addressed the warning signs of kidney disease, management strategies for different stages of the illness, and recent advancements in surgical transplantation.

Dr. Techawatwanna emphasized the importance of early prevention, particularly for high-risk groups including individuals with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and heart disease, as well as those with high sodium diets. The hospital highlighted that complex kidney patients require integrated care from specialized medical teams and interconnected service systems.
