Prashant Kishor criticizes Bihar government over law and order
Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraaj, has criticized the Samrat Choudhary government regarding the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. Highlighting recent incidents, including the shooting of an official in Arrah, the death of a policeman in Nalanda, and a fatal boat accident in Raghopur that claimed over a dozen children's lives, Kishor questioned the state administration's effectiveness.
Kishor alleged that the police and administration are prioritizing revenue from liquor prohibition and the sand mafia over crime prevention. He emphasized that a stable society and employment opportunities for youth are impossible without strong law enforcement. He also noted the concerning absence of NDRF and SDRF resources during the Raghopur boat tragedy.
Regarding the upcoming Legislative Council elections, Kishor stated that Jan Suraaj's goal is not merely to win seats but to awaken the people of Bihar. He urged citizens to prioritize education and employment over caste, religion, and political loyalty to ensure accountability and a better future for the state.
