Prashant Kishore Threatened with Defamation Suit Over ₹5 Million Aid Claim

Bharat Tiwari's mother Asha Devi and brother Chandan Tiwari have rejected activist Prashant Kishore's allegation that the family received a government assistance of ₹5 million. They said the claim is baseless and demanded proof within 15 days, warning that they will file a defamation case if no evidence is presented. The family emphasized that any government aid would be provided transparently, with checks shown on camera. They also noted that MP Manoj Tiwari had previously helped the family and expressed confidence that Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary would ensure justice. Kishore, founder of the Jan Suraj organization, had previously challenged the family to obtain justice within a month, a promise the Tiwari family says was not fulfilled.
