Pratibha Ranta discusses role in ‘The Revolutionaries’

Actress Pratibha Ranta has shared insights into her portrayal of freedom fighter Pratibha Lahiri in the upcoming series ‘The Revolutionaries’. During a promotional event in Mumbai, Ranta discussed the historical significance of her character, noting that Lahiri was a highly intelligent and curious individual who played a vital role in passing the message of sacrifice to the younger generation of revolutionaries.

Ranta highlighted Lahiri’s ability to decipher coded letters exchanged with Sachindra Nath Sanyal, emphasizing her sharp intellect. The series is inspired by true events and focuses on the lives of four freedom fighters: Ras Bihari Bose, Pratibha Lahiri, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, and Bagha Jatin, who fought against the British Raj. The production features actors including Rohit Saraf, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Jason Shah.
