Prato Crime Festival launches with sold-out inaugural events

The Prato Crime Festival has launched with high attendance, featuring sold-out inaugural events at Balli il Lanificio and Palazzo Vaj. The opening sessions addressed significant social and cultural themes, including gender-based violence and the psychology of serial killers.

One session at Balli il Lanificio focused on rights and voices against gender violence, featuring regional culture assessor Cristina Manetti and various authors and activists. Another event at Palazzo Vaj explored the topic of Italian serial killers through a discussion with writers and journalists.

As part of the festival's concluding activities, a murder mystery dinner is scheduled for September 13 at OraLab. Organized in collaboration with the theatrical company AcquainBocca, the interactive event will combine dining with a theatrical performance where guests must solve a mystery involving a sudden death.
