Prato Duomo to host joint choral concert for Saint Francis

The Duomo di Prato will host a special musical event titled ‘Due cori, un Cantico – Cantiamo a San Francesco’ on Sunday, October 25. The concert features a collaboration between the Corale San Francesco of Prato, led by conductor Paolo Fissi, and the Coro San Francesco of Macerata, led by conductor Laura Corbelli.

The event is part of the ‘In Festo Sancti Francisci’ cultural series, which commemorates the eighth centenary of Saint Francis. The day’s activities will begin with collective prayer and a Holy Mass at 12:00 PM, which the choirs will animate. The central concert is scheduled for 4:30 PM and is open to the public with free admission.

This initiative aims to celebrate the artistic and spiritual legacy of the patron saint of Italy by using music to connect different communities and territories.
