Pravda network accused of manipulating statements by José Miguel Villarroya

The Pravda network, also known as Portal Kombat, is reportedly manipulating content by spreading out-of-context clips of historian José Miguel Villarroya across six languages. The disinformation process begins on ultra and pro-Russian Telegram channels, which often post fragments minutes before the Pravda network amplifies them.

Analysis shows that the network significantly increases its output during periods of tension. For instance, during the Ceuta crisis, the network published over 1,700 headlines regarding Ceuta, Melilla, and Morocco in a single week.

This surge in activity coincides with planned demonstrations by the Blocus movement on October 31. In related developments, Spanish authorities have made arrests linked to the movement: the National Police detained a 20-year-old administrator in Bilbao for allegedly inciting incidents and targeting businesses, while the Civil Guard arrested a man in Picanya, Valencia, suspected of being the movement's founder in Spain.
