Pravia hosts Xiringüelu festival at Prao Salcéu

The Xiringüelu festival has commenced at Prao Salcéu in Pravia, Asturias, with expectations of more than 40,000 attendees. The event features 146 booths (casetas) and follows traditional customs, such as the official start marked by the Peña El Ahorcao hanging a doll.

A significant security and emergency deployment is in place to manage the crowds, involving 412 personnel and approximately 250 Civil Guards. Organizers noted that over 19,000 tickets had been sold online prior to the event.
