PRECISE and Temus launch Joint Innovation Centre in Singapore

Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE) and the AI digital transformation company Temus have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the PRECISE-Temus Joint Innovation Centre (JIC). This five-year collaboration is designed to support the technology, data, and delivery capabilities required for Phase III of Singapore’s National Precision Medicine (NPM) programme.

The JIC aims to translate genomic research into practical healthcare applications by strengthening digital infrastructure, operating models, and security safeguards for managing genomic data. This initiative supports Phase III of the NPM, which launched in November 2025 with the goal of sequencing the genomes of approximately 450,000 residents, representing about 10 per cent of Singapore’s local population. The project focuses on using genomic information responsibly at a population scale to support both medical research and patient care.
