Precision cooling technologies targeted to optimize energy efficiency in Venezuela
Specialists are recommending precision cooling technologies to optimize energy efficiency within Venezuela's technology sector, specifically targeting data centers. As data centers account for 1% to 1.5% of global electricity consumption, and cooling represents 40% to 50% of their total energy expenditure, optimizing these systems is a strategic priority to reduce operating costs and ensure environmental sustainability.
To address high energy demands and the density requirements of technologies like Artificial Intelligence, experts suggest implementing advanced cooling methods. These include ‘Free Cooling’, which utilizes exterior air, and ‘Liquid Cooling’, which uses a dielectric fluid applied directly to servers. Additionally, variable speed devices, such as in-row precision air conditioning, are being promoted to adjust to real-time demand and improve heat management.
