Predictive Discovery invests $10 m for 12% stake in Awalé Resources

Predictive Discovery Limited (ASX:PDI, TSX:PDI) announced a US$10 million strategic investment in Awalé Resources Limited (TSXV:ARIC). The cash injection will give PDI an approximately 12.3% undiluted shareholding in Awalé. The proceeds will be used to advance exploration on Awalé’s flagship Odienné Project in north‑western Côte d'Ivoire, a 2,346 km² landholding that includes a joint‑venture with Newmont Corporation covering 797 km². The Awalé‑Newmont JV holds an inferred mineral resource of 32.4 Mt at 1.64 g/t AuEq, equivalent to about 1.71 Moz AuEq across the BBM, Charger and Empire deposits. PDI will fund the investment from cash on hand, and the deal will not affect funding for its Bankan Gold Project in Guinea. Closing is expected in late July 2026, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and a four‑month‑plus‑one‑day hold period. “Awalé is an emerging West African gold exploration and development company… with excellent scope for continued growth,” said Matthew Wilcox, Managing Director and CEO of PDI.
