Predrag Bolpačić, star of Budimir Trajković, retreats from acting

Predrag Bolpačić, who rose to fame at age 17 playing the lead role in the 1977 cult film ‘Ljubavni život Budimira Trajkovića’, has lived a life largely removed from the public eye. Directed by Dejan Karaklajić, the film made Bolpačić a symbol for teenagers across the former Yugoslavia.

Following his debut, Bolpačić appeared in only one other minor role in the film ‘Nije nego’ before leaving the acting profession. He chose to pursue studies at a transport faculty and transitioned into a private life. Reports indicate he has survived three heart attacks and has two sons from two marriages. Recent social media images have resurfaced, showing the actor's significant change in appearance since his time as a cinematic icon.
