Montenegro seeks permanent seizure of Radoje Zvicer's assets
In Montenegro, the Special State Prosecutor has filed a request with the High Court in Podgorica for the permanent seizure of assets belonging to Radoje Zvicer. Zvicer, a leader of the Kavčan criminal organization, was previously sentenced to 16 years in prison for creating a criminal group and illegal drug production and trafficking.
The requested seizure includes a vast array of real estate totaling at least 54,567 square meters across Podgorica, Kotor, Herceg Novi, and Tivat. This includes residential buildings, apartments, business premises, garages, orchards, and pools. Additionally, the state seeks to seize luxury armored vehicles.
In related legal developments in the region, Srđan Vušurović was acquitted of an attempted murder charge in Podgorica, though he received over three years in prison for membership in a criminal organization. Meanwhile, in Serbia, political figures including Aleksandar Vučić and Rasim Ljajić are engaged in election campaigning, with Ljajić emphasizing his list's goal to influence future government formation without pre-committing to specific political blocs.
