Predrag Nešković exhibition scheduled at Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade will host the exhibition ‘Zemlja – vazduh’ (Earth – Air) by Serbian artist Predrag Nešković, opening on October 20, 2026. Curated by Svetlana Mitić and Una Popović, the exhibition offers a critical examination of the artist's work spanning six decades.

Nešković's artistic evolution is traced from his early involvement with new figuration and early pop art in the mid-1960s through postmodern irony, appropriation, and the aestheticization of kitsch. The exhibition explores his relationship with painting, spatial installation, technology, and media culture, connecting his 1978 Venice Biennale works with his practice in the 2000s.
