Predrag Rajković reportedly retires from Serbian national team

Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajković has reportedly decided to end his international career with the Serbian national team. While neither the player nor the Football Association of Serbia has issued an official statement, reports from Sport Klub suggest the Al Ittihad goalkeeper will no longer respond to call-ups from head coach Veljko Paunović.

Rajković, who has earned 44 caps and served as captain on two occasions, has seen his position in the starting lineup challenged by competition from Vanja Milinković-Savić and Đorđe Petrović. His playing time decreased significantly during a March match against Spain, where he played only one half. He was notably absent from representative activities during May and June, a period during which his decision to retire reportedly matured.
