Preeti Jhangiani celebrates birthday and career milestones

Actress Preeti Jhangiani is celebrating her 46th birthday, marking a career that spans multiple Indian film industries. She gained widespread recognition in Bollywood through her role as Kiran in the year 2000 film ‘Mohabbatein’, directed by Aditya Chopra. Notably, she secured this role without a formal audition.

Before her Hindi film success, Jhangiani worked in modeling and appeared in the 1997 music album ‘Yeh Hai Prem’. Her film career began in regional cinema with the Malayalam film ‘Mazhavillu’ in 1999 and the Telugu film ‘Thammudu’. Following her breakout in ‘Mohabbatein’, she appeared in various Hindi productions such as ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ and ‘LOC: Kargil’.

Jhangiani has also been recognized for her versatility in regional cinema, winning a Best Actress award for the Rajasthani film ‘Taawdo: The Sunlight’ in 2017. More recently, she transitioned into digital streaming with a role in the 2023 SonyLIV series ‘Kafas’.
