Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City eye summer signings

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said the club is planning major moves in the upcoming transfer window, aiming to lift the team to a new level after last season’s league title. Arsenal has already completed the £36 million signing of Christos Tzolis, added Ilan Milić on a free transfer and activated the buy‑back option for Piero Hincapié. Reports suggest the club is also targeting players such as Vinícius Júnior, Julián Alvarez and Bruno Guimarães.

Manchester City is close to securing Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouadi from Lille as a possible replacement for Rodri, whose contract expires next summer. Negotiations involve a €90‑100 million fee, with City proposing a five‑year deal. The club’s Asian pre‑season tour will proceed without Egyptian midfielder Omar Marmoush, who is on an extended rest after the World Cup.
