Premier League clubs target European football talents
Several English Premier League clubs are actively monitoring young talents across Europe to strengthen their squads. Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly competing for FC Barcelona's 19-year-old defender, Espart. The Spanish player is highly valued for his versatility and technical ability, with Barcelona holding a contract until 2030 that includes a release clause exceeding €100 million. While Barcelona may consider offers around €50 million plus bonuses, the club remains reluctant to sell.
In other transfer developments, Liverpool is eyeing AS Monaco striker Paris Brunner. The 20-year-old German forward has shown significant form in Ligue 1, attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund maintains a contractual mechanism that allows them to match competing offers for their former player. Monaco has valued Brunner at a minimum of €30 million.
Additionally, Manchester United is monitoring Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha as a potential reinforcement for their midfield. The 26-year-old is noted for his physicality and ball progression. However, Dortmund's valuation of approximately £84 million and Nmecha's contract through 2030 present significant hurdles for any potential move to Old Trafford.
