Premier Padel: Top seeds eliminated in Madrid ahead of Paris Major
The Premier Padel circuit continues with significant shifts in rankings following the P1 tournament in Madrid. In a major upset at the Movistar Arena, the world number one pair, Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello, were eliminated before the semifinals. They were defeated by Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas with a score of 7-5, 7-6(5), marking their first such loss in 66 weeks.
Other notable results from Madrid include Flavio Abbate and Alonso Rodriguez reaching their first Premier quarter-final after a three-set battle against Gonza Alfonso and Tino Libaak.
