Premio Bianca d'Aponte 2026 finalists announced
The Premio Bianca d'Aponte 2026, a national contest for female singer‑songwriters, has selected ten finalists from across Italy. The artists are Natalia Abbascià (Ruvo di Puglia), L’Aurora (Cosenza), Bambina (Corigliano Calabro), Rosita Brucoli (Bari), Fabula (Campobasso), Mabi (Casale Monferrato), Miriam Ricordi (Pescara), MVR (Tricase), Sarai (Rome) and Simona Valente (Bari).
The final performances will take place at the Teatro Cimarosa in Aversa on 23 and 24 October, under the artistic direction of Ferruccio Spinetti. Marina Rei will serve as madrina of the event. The overall winner will receive a €1,000 scholarship, while the critics’ prize (named after Fausto Mesolella) carries €800. Additional awards for best text, music, and interpretation will be granted, as well as various recognitions from jury members and partner organisations.
The competition is organized by the Associazione Bianca d'Aponte with collaboration from ReteDoc, the Fondazione Banco di Napoli and Nuovo IMAIE, and judged by a committee of producers, record executives, managers, singers, authors, musicians and journalists from the Italian music industry.
